Below are our usual Companion (Pet) Puppy Contract and Health Guarantees.
Contracts are a statement of intent.
We will stand behind our puppies, and guarantees and we expect puppy buyers
to be honest in what they want and intend to do with the puppy.
This is also the contract used for Performance puppies that their new owners
may wish to show in Agility, Obedience, Rally or Tracking.
Show puppies placed with the potential for their new owners to "Show"
in conformation also have the same general contract except the alter date is
removed.
Companion (Pet) Puppy versus "Show" Puppy
There is no difference in price between a so termed "Show" Puppy
and a "Companion" or "Performance" Puppy.
They come from the same parents and have the same pedigrees and have had
the same care and attention.
The difference is in the Buyer's obligations under the contract and to the dog.
We breed to the show standard and expect the majority of our puppies to be able
to finish championships if appropriately trained and shown.
We almost always place puppies we do not keep ourselves into Companion homes,
and much prefer loving Companion homes for our puppies.
"Breeding" Potential Puppy or dog.
A different contract is used for puppies placed as potential breeding prospects.
We do not place puppies into pet breeding situations, or place them with "no
strings attached".
Breeding potential dogs are placed with a detailed contract requiring showing
and health testing and puppy placement policies similar to ours.
The XXX's are filled in with the individual puppies information.
